President and founder, Cheryl Lee, began her ascent to becoming a Custom Homebuilder and Remodeler after years of experience in the construction industry which included residential & commercial architecture design, residential development and civil engineering, residential remodeling and new construction. While working for a suburban builder as Director of Architecture, Cheryl began her training in energy efficient design and construction which later became part of the inspiration for her company. Her relatively unique business model combines experienced staff, carefully planned processes, creative architecture and interior design, and the highest construction quality. The result is a beautiful, energy efficient home that clients not only treasure and enjoy, but experience a long-lasting value and return on their investment for years to come.
 
While CL Design-Build is known primarily for designing and building custom homes, there is also remodeling division that takes on projects of any size as well as a light commercial division. Cheryl is an advocate of the green movement and takes every opportunity to advance the professionalism of the construction industry. She and her family have lived in Yorkville, IL for over 20 years.
