Dr. Carson received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and is a board certified chiropractic physician in Illinois. Dr. Carson received additional training related to servicing the pediatric population, and has experience treating and interacting with children with special needs.  Although originally from the Detroit area, he and his wife settled down in Oswego after college to be near her family.  After a couple of years of experience filling in at area offices, Carson Chiropractic was opened in March of 2004.  
 
Carson Chiropractic sees patients of all ages and activity levels, and operates under the philosophy that the patient’s health comes first.  We strive to help patients eliminate any barriers in seeking chiropractic care.  We will work out affordable options for all budgets that do not require large, up-front costs, we have convenient scheduling with evening and Saturday appointments, and we educate our patients so they are comfortable with all services they receive at our office.  We offer manual therapy provided by licensed massage therapists who are skilled in a variety of massage techniques including, but not limited to, trigger point, deep tissue, and pregnancy.  Most of our services are covered by PPO insurance.  We are a Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO provider, and we accept most other PPO insurances as well.
 
In addition to caring for the Oswego community in our office, Carson Chiropractic gives back to the community through sponsorships, fundraising, and volunteering.  We sponsor numerous local sports teams including a Pony baseball team, softball teams, bowling teams, local golf outings and 5K runs.  We have fundraised for the MDA Lock Up, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, St. Baldricks, and the Red Cross.  We have held a food drive for the Kendall County Food Pantry, and a supply drive for soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, and our staff has volunteered for the Kendall County Food Pantry and the Oswegoland Park District.  Dr. Carson is also a member of the Optimist Club of Oswego, and has provided holiday gifts to children as a part of their Needy Family Project.
